The Pineda family lives in and operates a run-down theater which shows dated porno double-features. The matriarch Nanay Flor, her daughter Nayda, son-in-law Lando and adopted daughter Jewel take turns manning the ticket booth and canteen. Her nephews Alan and Ronald are respectively the billboard painter and projectionist.
